Yokota Air Base, Japan --
Each year Airmen who stand out amongst their peers and
perform duties beyond their rank by demonstrating exceptional leadership,
followership and hard work, both on and off duty, are recognized by the Air
Force and rewarded for their dedication.
The Senior Airman Below-the-Zone Promotion Program, is a
reward for outstanding Airmen to promote to Senior Airmen six months before
they would otherwise be eligible.
Air Force wide, only 15 percent of eligible Airmen are
selected for BTZ. 10 members of Team Yokota have been awarded this early
