It's been a busy week here for Team Yokota! We just finished a rigorous Samurai Readiness Training Week that gauged our ability to respond to a variety of difficult scenarios. Whether it was Self-Aid and Buddy Care or Ability To Survive and Operate training, this was an effective opportunity to assess our readiness and emergency management skills. Through it all, we continued to show our ability to continue generating combat airlift.

As forward deployed Airmen, it is crucial that we continue to hone our readiness edge. We play a significant role in the stability of the region--and even though we are a smaller force than we were a year ago--we need to remain a fully capable force. As our Wing Inspection Program continues to find areas to refine, let's keep this forward momentum moving and showcase why we're PACAF's go-to airlift wing.

Take pride in the fact that you all are a part of a highly trained team of professionals. Your steadfast commitment to our mission is greatly appreciated by our Pacific partners. I am proud of the continued work you do on behalf of the "Best Wing in the Pacific."
