Yokota Airmen conduct simulated aircraft crash

Airmen assigned to the 374th Maintenance Squadron repair and reclamation section don protective gears before conducting a simulated aircraft decontamination at Yokota Air Base, Japan, March 8, 2018. The section has three areas of responsibility: repair and reclamation, crash damaged or disabled aircraft recovery, wheel and tire. The repair and reclamation section maintains flight control surfaces and systems, landing gear, actuated doors and associated equipment on Pacific Air Forces' C-130 fleet. The Crash damaged or disabled aircraft recovery section is responsible for removing and recovering damaged or disabled aircraft as a result of in-flight or ground mishaps.
