An island child sits onto of a Low-Cost Low-Altitude bundle of humanitarian supplies during Operation Christmas Drop, Dec. 10, 2018, on Fais Island, Federated States of Micronesia. OCD is a humanitarian aid and disaster relief training exercise designed to not only provide remote un-surveyed airdrop training for aircrew, enhancing HA/DR response capabilities, but also provides over 60,000 pounds of humanitarian aid and supplies to 56 remote Pacific islands that rarely have contact for or access to regular supplies.
