Yokota's Students Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage
A variety of Japanese culturally significant traditions stand as one before the student body during the National Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Celebration at Yokota High School, Yokota Air Base, Japan, May 6, 2019. The event allowed students to experience Ikebana floral arrangement, origami, samurai customs, a tea ceremony, ink wash painting, Kimono or Yukata dress, Kendo, and Tanabata dance from their host nation.
