Comm Flyaway kit ensures Yokota readiness during SRI

Staff Sgt. Kyle Wilson, 374th Communications Squadron cyber transport supervisor, configures the Communications Fly-Away Kit (CFK) during the Samurai Readiness Inspection at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Oct. 20, 2021. The 374th CS radio frequency transmission systems section are responsible for maintaining the kit. The CFK provides Non-secure Internet Protocol Router, Secure Internet Protocol Router, and Voice Over Secure Internet Protocol, more commonly referred to as NIPR, SIPR and VOSIP respectively during emergency and contingency operations.
