Joint Jump Training at Yokota

Two MH-60S Sea Hawks, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 12, prepare to land after conducting a high altitude, low opening (HALO) parachute jump training, Yokota Air Base, Japan, Dec. 13, 2021. Marines assigned to the 3rd Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Marine Division and an Air Force Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) specialist conducted week-long jump training using Air Force and Navy aircraft. The training supports the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command’s dynamic force employment (DFE) concept through agile combat employment (ACE), which supports the National Defense Strategy effort to conduct training with joint partners while maintaining global peace and security.
