C-130 joint jump training at Yokota

U.S. Air Force Staff. Sgt. Jordan Silversmith, 36th Airlift Squadron instructor loadmaster, surveys the land in support of a high altitude, low opening (HALO) parachute jumps at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Dec. 17, 2021. U.S. Marines and a U.S. Air Force Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) specialist conducted week-long jump training using Air Force and Navy aircraft. In addition to allowing Marines and Airmen to practice jump procedures together, interoperability training allows Yokota aircrews to practice flight tactics and timed package drops.
