This fact sheet provides assistance in how to use various modes of transportation to get from the Narita International Airport to Yokota Air Base. The established modes of transportation include buses or trains.  Japan is one of the leading countries in public transportation, offering an efficient train system that can take passengers to almost any destination in the county.

Yokota/Narita Daily Shuttle Bus Service

If traveling from Narita and arrive at Terminal II, take the free airport shuttle bus that goes to Terminal I from bus stops number 8 or 18. Go to the customer service counter in Terminal 1 to take the shuttle. One must have military orders and have SOFA status to use the shuttle.

Japan Rail

Japan's nation-wide train system is one of the most efficient, on-time and safe modes of transportation in the world. The East Japan Railway Company (JR East) serves Tokyo and the Kanto plain. A map is provided on the JR East page, detailing the greater Tokyo metropolitan area train system.
