Welcome to Detachment 1, AMC Passenger Terminal, Diego Garcia Naval Support Facility (NSF).
Diego Garcia is located seven degrees south of the equator in the Indian Ocean. Detachment 1 is a tenant unit on the NSF, and falls under the command of the 730th Air Mobility Squadron out of Yokota Air Base, Japan. Diego Garcia is a British Indian Ocean Territory.
Our primary mission is to support naval operations by offering air transportation of cargo and personnel to Singapore, Bahrain, Yokota, and the United States.
Space-Available travel to Diego is limited only to those personnel permanently assigned to the NSF or one of their tenant units. Space-Available travel to or through Diego Garcia for all other personnel, not permanently assigned, is not authorized. Please reference the Foreign Clearance Guide for travel guidelines established for Diego Garcia.
