Welcome to Detachment 2, Paya Lebar Air Base, Singapore, Passenger Terminal which is hosted by the Republic Singapore Air Force. The Detachment is also supported by Navy Regional Contracting Center (NRCC) in Sembawang.
We are located about 14 km or 9 miles from Changi International Airport. The Detachment is a tenant unit here on Paya Lebar Air Base and falls under the command of the 730 Air Mobility Squadron out of Yokota Air Base, Japan.
The transportation of PACAF en-route cargo and personnel to Yokota AB, Japan and Diego Garcia is our primary mission.
Space Available seats are limited due to mission requirements, therefore, planning ahead and flexibility is vital to Space Available travel from Singapore. |

NOTE: All dependents traveling with the sponsor must be identified by name (Social Security or passport number is optional).

Passenger Amenities: While there is no eatery located within the passenger terminal itself, there is a small cafeteria across from the terminal with limited food selection. There are also no ATM's or currency exchange branches located in the terminal or on the base. Please be sure to bring the correct currency.
Taxi's are abundant here in Singapore and are easy to use and accepts credit cards or local currency as method of payment.

Paya Lebar Air Base: Paya Lebar Air base does not have any lodging facilities available. Passengers will need to seek lodging accommodations at either PSA Sembawang or off base establishments.
Sembawang Navy Lodging: Navy's Sling Inn, located in Sembawang, is approximately 45 minutes from Paya Lebar Air Base. Please note there is no base shuttle service from Paya Lebar Air Base to PSA Sembawang. Travelers wishing to be lodged here will need to arrange use of local transportation. Off Base Lodging
There are numerous lodging facilities located in the downtown area. Prices vary depending on which hotel you choose to lodge at. Please contact the passenger service center for phone numbers and assistance.
Sembawang Base Shuttle Service: Available to all personnel in Sembawang, free of charge. The shuttle operates Mon-Fri from 0620 to 1820. It makes way through the housing area, Billeting and down through the main Navy compound only. |
