Hueys: Day, Night
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan --
Operators with the 459th Airlift Squadron flew UH-1N Hueys night and day throughout May 7 - 9, 2014, to practice their skills needed to provide priority airlift capabilities.
The flights included practice with night vision goggles to maintain qualification, practice search and rescue operations and navigation and formation training.
The 459 AS assists Yokota Air Base in providing responsive airlift support throughout the Pacific region.
