YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Lt. Col. J. Kelly Klein took command of the 374th Medical Support Squadron from Lt. Col. Dean Borsos in a change of command ceremony here July 25. 

Colonel Klein's was previously assigned as commander of the 1st Special Operations Medical Support Squadron, Hurlburt Field, Fla. 

"I am extremely proud to join the Samurai Warrior team and look forward to many exciting challenges during my command," said Colonel Klein. "I look forward to helping the medical group provide the best possible healthcare to our beneficiaries, developing my airmen and supporting their families, and strengthening community ties." 

The colonel has a master's degree in public health and has various awards to include a Bronze Star and the Meritorious Service Medal. 

Colonel Borsos is now assigned to the Pentagon, Va.
