Students of Yokota's West Elementary School learn the game of Tousenkyo

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan- Jan Aranas, a student in Ms. Tabatha Johnson's fourth grade class, plays a game of Tousenkyo as Sarah Dengler, Caitlyn Rowan and Madison Walker watch on. Tousenkyo is a fan tossing game that dates back to the Edo period, the period of the Samurai. The object of the game is to toss the fan and knock down the fan on top of the box without actually hitting the box. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman First Class Leandra D. Hernandez)
