Under Secretary of the Air Force Matt Lohmeier, visited Yokota Air Base, Japan, during a Pacific Air Forces tour, Feb. 2-3, 2026. Yokota Air Base highlighted its role as the Indo-Pacific’s premier logistics hub responsible to sustain and maneuver forces on time when called upon. During his visit, he observed bilateral Rapid Airfield Damage Repair training, recognized superior performers and received insight on the installation’s successes and opportunities.
