Mail

In Australia we have two types of mailboxes, DPO and APO.  Once you in-process with the 337th ASUF, we will notify you which category you fall under.  

If you require a mailbox ahead of time, contact the person you are replacing to set that up.  They may require a copy of your orders.  Contact your gaining command or 337 ASUF/DP (337ASUF.DP.ORGBOX@us.af.mil) if you need assistance in identifying your position’s incumbent.

DPO

If stationed near the U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate, then a DPO address will be assigned to you.  The mailboxes are located in either location and you are required to pick up your mail from there. 

APO

If you are not located near the U.S. Embassy or Consulate, then you will be assigned an APO mailbox.  When you in-process with the 337th ASUF, our admin section will have you fill out a document which will then be submitted to the Postal team in Sydney.  Once received, they will e-mail you an address for your location.
