U.S., Japan Forces perform bilateral logistics training
Staff Sgt. Nicholas Adkins, 374th Logistics Readiness Squadron NCO in charge of training operations, center, writes down the rear weight of a 10K All-Terrain Forklift on a piece of tape during a base facilities tour Dec. 15, 2021, at Yokota Air Base, Japan. The 10K All-Terrain Forklift is an essential piece to Yokota’s operations for its ability to lift, load and transport heavy cargo on the flight line, at drop zones and various austere environments. Opportunities such as tours, exchange events and combined training with Japan Air Self Defense Force personnel and U.S. Air Force Airmen, has proven effective in increasing mutual understanding of military tactics, techniques, and procedures that help ensure both forces can successfully work together as a cohesive unit.
