Chief Master Sergeant JERRY J. DUNN

Chief Master Sergeant Jerry Dunn is the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 374th Airlift Wing, Yokota Air Base, Japan. As the principal senior enlisted advisor to the wing commander and senior staff members, he is entrusted with ensuring the training, readiness, morale, welfare, professional development and effective utilization of more than 6,300 Airmen and local national employees providing bilateral engagement, operational support and distinguished visitor airlift throughout Japan and the Indo-Pacific theater of operations, while also working to support and enhance the quality of life of 11,000 base personnel.

Chief Dunn enlisted in the Air Force in January of 1997 and his background includes various duties in the ophthalmic career field. Additionally, he has served as a First Sergeant and MAJCOM functional manager and has held a number of senior enlisted positions while serving at the squadron, group and combatant command levels. Chief Dunn has performed humanitarian assistance missions in several locations and deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, while also completing overseas tours in Turkey, England, the Netherlands, Japan and Germany.

Prior to assuming his current position, Chief Dunn served as the Command First Sergeant, United States Africa Command, Kelley Barracks, Stuttgart, Germany.
