Colonel GRAHAM I. WARDEN

Col. Graham I. Warden is the Commander, 374th Medical Group, Yokota Air Base, Japan. He is responsible for the health and wellness of 11,500 personnel at Yokota Air Base, the US Embassy Japan, and 38 geographically separated units across the Pacific. The 374th Medical Group is a 19-clinic/15-bed hospital comprised of five squadrons and 465 personnel.

Col. Warden entered the Air Force in January 1998 via the Health Professional Scholarship Program. He served as Chief of Medical Staff at Misawa Air Base, Japan and as squadron commander at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska, and Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. He established the first Pacific Air Forces operational teleradiology capability, served as the first radiology consultant to the US Central Command Surgeon General, and was the first Defense Health Agency Chief of Radiology Clinical Operations. While in Japan, he resurrected the Air Force Japanese Physician Fellowship Program, dormant since the end of the Vietnam War, bolstering the US-Japan alliance. At the Defense Health Agency, he established policy and clinical strategy for an annual 1.3-billion-dollar radiology program supporting 9.5 million beneficiaries, supported 600 Department of Defense radiologists, and delineated requirements and developed solutions for enterprise imaging.

Doctor Warden is board certified in both Diagnostic Radiology and Clinical Informatics and is a Certified Physician Executive and International Health Specialist.
