    B-52 Stratofortress Lands at Yokota

    We can confirm that a U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress diverted to Yokota AB, Japan, due to an in-flight maintenance issue. The aircraft landed at Yokota at 10:22 a.m. JST. It landed safely and without incident. The B-52 is assigned to the 5th Bomb Wing, Minot AFB, North Dakota.

    Celebrate America Access Update

    In support of the upcoming Celebrate America event on July 3, the 374th Airlift Wing will be adjusting the policy for DoD members and MLCs sponsoring visitors on base. The maximum amount of visitors members may sponsor will be increased from 5 personnel to 10, to include children. This policy change

    Update to Construction Impact for Airlift Avenue

    Beginning on Tuesday 27 June, the 374 Civil Engineer Squadron started work on the eastern lanes of Airlift Avenue. This is sooner than expected due to the efficiency of the contractor executing the work. This stated, Tunner Street will not be accessible via Airlift Ave from 27 Jun until 31 August.
