Recently, we sent a team of Airmen to Alaska to engage with our joint partners from the Army's 25th Infantry Division to further develop our ability to generate combat airlift. It's a perfect lead-in to Red Flag, a large force employment exercise that improves our integration with fellow warfighters and increases our overall combat capability as a joint force.

While we are engaging in the region, we also continue to do it here at Yokota. This week, our 374th Maintenance Group hosted Japan Air Self-Defense Force maintenance officers from Hamamatsu Air Base. Each side had the opportunity to develop a common understanding of each other's maintenance techniques. While some processes may differ, these dedicated professionals share the same mission: enabling Air Power.

Whether it's out in the furthest expanse of the Pacific, or here on our own doorstep, Team Yokota continues to look for opportunities to engage in the region with our Pacific allies and partners. The relationships we build at home and abroad are critical to the peace and stability of this dynamic region. Let it be known that it's good to have a friend from Team Yokota at your side.
