There is nothing quite as thrilling as seeing and feeling airpower in action. This week, Yokota showcased its airlift expertise in a series of formation flights and airdrop missions. It was incredible to see seven of our venerable Hercs spin up in unison and take to the skies on Monday only to turn around and execute three days of jump training with our Joint partners. This feat was a testament to the professional Airmen here at PACAF's Airlift Wing.

As members of the airlift community, we carry a proud legacy forged in the skies over Normandy, tempered in the hills of Khe Sahn and tested in the passes of Afghanistan's Hindu Kush Mountains. Our mission to provide Professional Airlift in the Western Pacific remains a vital part of our nation's defense. This week, we demonstrated our readiness to generate combat airpower to our combatant commander.

Next week, we will showcase Team Yokota to some truly inspirational Air Force leaders. This is yet another opportunity to highlight our pride and professionalism. Let's show our distinguished guests what it takes to be the Best Wing in the Pacific.
