Groovin' to the '60s

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Route 16, a '60s-themed restaurant, will take the place of the former Outback near the Officers' Club. The new menu includes breakfast, sandwiches, burgers and shakes. The restaurant is set to open in the middle of May and will be open seven days a week. It will seat up to 70 people and will be open to all ranks. YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Cafe Kirara, located in the Yujo Community Center, is set to open in May. The menu includes sandwiches, salads and curry dishes. Operating hours will be 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mondays - Fridays, 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturdays and closed on Sundays. The cafe will seat 32 members and is open to all ranks.
