Chained and secured
Airman 1st Class Kristopher Benfer, 374th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief from Yokota Air Base, Japan, assists Senior Master Sgt. Matthew Messner, 734th Air Mobility Squadron aerial port superintendent, in securing the bottom of the R-11 refueling truck on a C-130 Hercules. With the combined effort of Airmen from the 374th AMXS and 36th Airlift Squadron, both from Yokota AB, Japan and currently on Guam for Cope North 13, and the Airmen of the 36th Logistics Readiness Squadron and 734th AMS, the refueling truck was transported to Rota and successfully refueled a Navy F/A-18 Hornet diverted to Rota due to weather conditions.
