Junji Kunimatsu, 374th Force Support Squadron Outdoor Recreation tour guide, teaches novice skiers how to climb through snow using their ski poles Dec. 12, 2012, during a beginners ski course. The course was part of a trip to the Japanese Alps hosted by the 374th Force Support Squadron outdoor recreation center. The trips are available for base service members and their families, and outdoor recreation provides 12 free slots per trip offered free of charge to single Airmen.
