Bandsmen take on new role in base excercise
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Col. Mark August, 374th Airlift Wing commander, addresses Band of the Pacific-Asia bandsmen posing as international news media at a simulated press conference during an operational readiness exercise at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Nov. 6, 2012. "Air Force bandsmen are natural performers and made convincing, hard-hitting reporters," said Tech. Sgt. Samuel Morse, 374th Airlift Wing public affairs exercise evaluator. "They were a great help in making this scenario successful and beneficial for the wing." (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Josh Voyles)
