YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Staff Sgt. Justin Carpenter and SSgt Charles Salton, 374h Security Forces Squadron military working dog handlers demonstrate a vehicle extraction Oct. 11, 2011 at Yokota Air Base, Japan. Salton acts as a decoy while Carpenter teaches his dog to respond to his voice, giving him attack and release commands to apprehend a threat.
