Vice President Biden visits Yokota
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Vice President Joe Biden speaks to servicemembers at the Taiyo Community Center, Yokota Air Base, Japan, Aug. 24, 2011. The Vice President thanked the servicemembers for their assistance in responding to the Tohoku earthquake earlier this year, while highlighting Japan's resilience during the recovery and rebuilding process. The visit to Yokota comes as one stop during the Vice President's nine-day tour through China, Mongolia, and Japan to discuss a full range of bilateral, regional and international issues.
