Military children recognized during Homefront Herores ceremony
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Capt. Karina Glover, 374th Surgical Operations Squadron general surgery physician assistant, pins a medal on her 4-year-old daughter, Isabella, at the Homefront Heroes ceremony held Aug. 8, 2011, at the Airman and Family Readiness Center at Yokota Air Base, Japan. Isabella and 11 other children were honored by their parents during the ceremony. The Homefront Heroes program recognizes the contributions of military children while one or more parent is deployed.
