Memorial Day thoughts from "Man on the street"

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Mr. Robert Borden, 374th Airlift Wing inspector general, poses for a photo and declares what Memorial Day means to him May 26, 2011, Yokota Air Base, Japan. "For me, Memorial Day means a day in which we all should remember and give thanks to our nation's true courageous heroes who have answered the call and given their lives to protect us and our way of life. We owe these men and women a debt that we can never repay. Often times, you hear folks say "Freedom isn't free!" Well, I agree. The freedom we enjoy has been paid for with the lives of our men and women in uniform. Always express your gratitude, never take these sacrifices for granted and count your blessings!"
