Relief supplies bring hope amidst the devastation

MATSUSHIMA AIR BASE, Japan -- Water level marks can still be seen on buildings surrounding Matsushima Air Base, March 29, nearly two weeks after an earthquake and tsunami struck the area. Members from the 36th Airlift Squadron, Yokota Air Base, Japan, were on scene to deliver more than 11,000 pounds of relief supplies to support the Government of Japan's request for humanitarian assistance.
