Oct. 3-9 declared as Fire Prevention Week
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Col. Otto Feather, 374th Airlift Wing commander, signs a proclamation letter declaring October 3-9 as fire prevention week, here, September 15, as Sparky the Fire Dog and other members of the Yokota Fire Department look on. During fire prevention week the Yokota Fire Department will sponsor activities across the base to educate children and their parents on fire prevention and detection.
