YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Cheryl Paiva, Pacific Air Force Sexual Assault Prevention & Response Program manager, welcomes 27 trainees from across PACAF to the Bystander Intervention Facilitator Train-the-Trainers course, here August 30. The goal of the bystander intervention training is to empower Airmen to effectively prevent sexual assaults against their fellow wingmen by providing a learning environment in which they can practice and become confident using intervention skills.
