Yokota hosts Tokyo Metropolitan Government disaster drill

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- A Japanese Air Self Defense Force helicopter lands in downtown Tokyo as part of the TMG disaster preparedness drill, 29 Aug. The JASDF helicopter joined a U.S. Army helicopter and a Yokota UH-1 at the conclusion of the exercise, where humanitarian supplies were offloaded from each aircraft, simulating the interoperability of U.S. and Japanese government in responding to natural disasters.
