Yokota Friendship Club Luncheon

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Mr. Akira Tanabe, Ome Yokota Friendship Club chief director, Mrs. Wakako Tanabe, wife of Mr. Tanabe and Maj. Christoper Watt, chief of Public Affairs visit during a Friendship Club Lunch at the Enlisted Club, Feb. 26. Local Japanese business and political leaders began forming the six community friendship clubs in 1989 as a way to show their appreciation for U.S. forces in Japan and to introduce Japanese culture to Yokota Airmen and their families.
