Tokyo Metropolitan Government exercise
070901 YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Personnel from the 374th Airlift Wing and the Tokyo Metropolitan Fire Department work together to provide emergency care to simulated patients for a Joint Disaster Management Exercise held by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government on the Yokota Air Base flightline. In Japan, 1 September is established for Disaster Awareness (Readiness) Day as known as Bo-sai-no-hi after the Great Kanto Earthquake in 1923 this exercise helps prepare the Japanese citizens for future disasters.
