2009 Friendship Festival under way
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Capt. Jennifer Sherwood and Capt. Sean Silva, both from the 36th Airlift Squadron here, pose for a photo with Japanese children at a C-130 Hercules static display Aug. 22 during the first day of the two-day Yokota Air Base Japanese-American Friendship Festival. More than 80,000 people attended the first day. In addition to static displays and live music, the festival offered a variety of American and Japanese food items.
