Yokota Airmen take part in Pacific Airlift Rally '09
SUBANG ROYAL MALAYSIAN AIR FORCE BASE, Malaysia -- Three C-130 Hercules from the 374th Airlift Wing at Yokota Air Base, Japan, prepare for missions Aug. 17 during the 2009 Pacific Airlift Rally here. The PAR is a biennial exercise involving Pacific Rim nations which enhances military airlift interoperability with a focus in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations. The exercise consists of a tabletop exercise and a field-training exercise involving three C-130 aircraft from the 374th Airlift Wing at Yokota Air Base, Japan, and one C-130 each from the Royal Malaysian Air Force, Royal Australian Air Force, Republic of Singapore Air Force and Royal New Zealand Air Force.
