First baby of 2009

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Sarah Martin and her husband, Army Staff Sgt. Christopher Martin, hold their newborn daughter, Sydney Alexis Martin, Jan. 4. Sydney, the first baby to be born in 2009 at the base hospital, was born at 5:56 p.m. Jan. 3 and weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces.
