AFN Maintenance

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Staff Sgt. Sylvester Davila, an American Forces Network-Tokyo broadcast maintenance technician, verifies that all the audio feeds from the Defense Media Center in California are fully functional Dec. 30. AFN-Tokyo provides a 24-hour radio and TV service to an audience of more that 300,000 military members, civilian employees and family members across Japan. Broadcast maintenance technicians like Sergeant Davila ensure the electrical equipment required to provide the broadcast service is operating properly.
