Antenna maintenance ensures multi-service communication
Airman 1st Class David Herrera, 374th Communications Squadron cable and antenna maintenance technician, removes a bolt from a rotatable log periodic antenna July 26, 2013, at the Tokorozawa Communication Site, Japan. The bolt removal made the antenna’s arm lay lower to the ground, allowing Herrera and his team to easily replace crystalline plastic used as support bridges between antenna segments.
