Yokota pays tribute to 9/11 first-responders
A firefighter makes his way to the ninth floor of building 1561 during the Remember the Fallen tower run at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Sept. 11, 2013. Even though the teams were only required to wear an oxygen tank on their back, the firefighter team wore their entire personal protective equipment. In total, each team climbed a total of 110 floors, simulating the height of the Twin Towers. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Michael Washburn/Released)
