Airmen accomplish airlift surge

YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan – C-130 Hercules from the 374th Airlift Wing taxi into position as they prepare to take off as part of a large formation surge mission at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Aug. 19, 2013. The wing conducts surge operations to test its capability to prepare, launch and coordinate multiple aircraft at the same time.
