Operation Christmas Drop: Island anticipation
Islanders on a small fishing boat watch a C-130 Hercules fly overhead during Operation Christmas Drop at Ulithi Atoll, Micronesia, Dec. 9, 2014. The aircraft belongs to the 374th Airlift Wing at Yokota Air Base, Japan, and it assisted with the delivery of 50,000 pounds of donated goods in 92 bundles to 56 Micronesian islands during OCD 2014. The effort is a combined coordination between members of the 36th Wing, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, the 374 AW and members of the 515th Air Mobility Operations Wing.
