Yokota maintainers refurbish the Wing’s Mikoshi
The mikoshi shrine sits on display in the 374th Maintenance Squadron aerospace ground equipment flight during the rededication ceremony at Yokota Air Base, Japan, June 15, 2016. The flight worked more than 150 hours sanding, stripping, painting and treating the wooden surfaces as well as trimming, shaping and fitting over 10 square meters of brass to replace the ornate work over the course of one month.
