A Vietnamese Air Defense Air Force hat, notebook and syllabus symbolize the first-ever Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) in Nha Trang, Vietnam Sept. 11-13, 2017. U.S. Air Force air advisors from the 36th Contingency Response Group from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam and the VADAF took part in the exchange, which was part of Pacific Angel 17. PACANGEL builds partnerships between regional nations by conducting multilateral humanitarian assistance and civil-military operations, promoting regional military-civilian non governmental organization cooperation and interoperability.
