374 CES, Koku Jietai team up for bilateral training
U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Romain Smith, 374th Civil Engineer Squadron electrical power production, works with members of the Koku Jietai (Japan Air Self-Defense Force) members to measure out the proper positioning for the Mobile Aircraft Arresting System (MAAS) at a bilateral training event at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Oct. 25, 2018. The training allowed personnel from Iruma, Komatsu and Hyakuri Air Bases to get hands-on experience with the installation process of the MAAS, further strengthening the relationship and interoperability of the two nation’s forces.
