Yokota Tower Run Honors Fallen Heroes from 9/11
U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Danielle Spurlock, 374th Maintenance Squadron munitions accountable systems officer, finishes her first turn as her team repeatedly climbs an 11-story tower to a collective 110 floors during a 9/11 Memorial Run on Yokota Air Base Japan, Sept. 11, 2020. The memorial climb symbolizes the flights of stairs first responders had to climb on the day of the infamous terrorist attacks, killing 412 emergency workers. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
