U.S., Japanese communities come together for 43rd Kanto Plains Special Olympics
A Kanto Plains Special Olympics athlete throws a Frisbee toward a target during the 43rd annual KPSO at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Nov. 5, 2022. Athletes were able to compete in a variety of games including soccer shoot, basketball dribble, softball throw, bowling and running and swimming races. Hosting events like the KPSO is an opportunity for Yokota Air Base to fortify its ties with the Japanese community and enhance the strong bond the U.S. shares with Japan. (U.S. Air Force by Tech.
