Runners bring the heat for Yokota’s Frostbite Road Race

Spectators cheer for half-marathon runners during the 42nd annual Frostbite Road Race at Yokota Air Base, Japan, Jan. 22, 2023. This is the first Frostbite Road Race held at Yokota Air Base in three years, and it’s ranked as one of the top 100 road races in Japan. The event is an opportunity for Yokota and local Japanese communities to enjoy practicing fitness together and helps to strengthen the enduring partnership both nations share.
